Olympia Park in Munichi

In 1972 the Olympics were held in Munich. It was fun to walk through the park and wonder how it would've been during the Olympics. This is called the Olympic tower and you can ride an elevator up to the top and look out over the city. We  did n't even know if it was open. The park is right next to the BMW Musuem.

This is the Olympic hall. We thought it was so cool how they built this outside roof with all these cables coming out of it.

This is the swim hall where swimmer Mark Spitz won 7 gold medals. His record was beat by Michael Phelps in 2008.

We walked behind all of the buildings and it was really pretty and green everywhere with the rolling hills.

This was as close to the soccer stadium as we could get. I love how all of the seats are green. It would've been fun to go inside.

I was surprised how busy the park was. People exercising and riding bikes and there was a pretty cool lake in the middle. It was fun to walk around there and we spent the day in Rothensberg.
