HAPPY NEW YEAR!

We had a New Year's party at our house with our friends Jon Michelle and Bob Cornish, Julia and Austin. We got to try out our chocolate fountain and it was grand. We played some games Wacky six and ran outside to bang pots and pans at midnight. It was crazy loud with a band in someone's garage, and fireworks it was pretty fun.

Mt. Diablo with the kids on New Year's Day. Jon had the day off so for once we decided to do something fun with the kids instead of running errands or fixing something on the house.

This is a view from the summit. It was fun and I have never been to the top before.

Then we stopped at "Rock City." It reminded me of City of Rocks in Oakley. The kids loved climbing on the rocks.

Look at those green eyes and I even got a smile out of him. That is hard to do with Taylor.

Conner was by far the most courageous and was climbing all over and sliding down until their were holes in his new pants. He loved every minute of it.

Kate was scary she wanted to follow the rest of them on the rocks. This park is only 30 minutes away and was great fun with the kids. They loved all the holes in the rocks they could climb into. It was a great day with the kids I am glad we made it.

How fun! Chocolate fountains and rocks, life doesn't get any better than that! I love all the great pictures of Taylor, it's been awhile since we've seen his great smile, what a cutie! Him and Kate look a lot alike in that one picture. I'm not surprised your hiking mtns almost 8 months pregnant, you're awesome! :)

In college you were one of the most energetic people I knew, it looks like even after 5 kids you still have that never ending spunk.
